FAST UK is a Christian charity working in Romania to provide support to people in need - support with both their physical and, most importantly, their spiritual needs. The local charities we work with are Hope in Action (in Scale, near Brasov) and Telios (in Reghin). These charities work largely, either directly or through local churches, with Rroma communities, and a large part of their work is with children and young people. The needs are significant and we send money, clothes, tools, and other items, as required and as we are able.

Our aim is to help transform lives through the hope of Jesus.

The Trustees visit Romania each year to review and discuss the works being done, to provide support and encouragement to those working in the challenging circumstances, and to join local churches in their times of regular worship.

FAST UK was developed out of FAST, a Romanian based charity, with the acronym standing for Fundatia pentru Asistenta Sociala si Tineret (The Foundation for Social Assistance and Youth).
